i have 03 forks(racetech springs and gold valves), brakes (mc, braided lines, calipers, rotors) and a wheel that i'm looking to get rid of...... and you already know where my house is:teeth

you'll need the triple clamp (i have the top triple, but you'll need to get a bottom off e bay) and clip ons

I think all in all, my GSXR frontend swap cost me about:

Forks w/ triples: $140
Calipers: $40
Rotors: $40 - $20 = $20 (They came with the rear rotor as well, which I sold)
Clip-ons: $FREE
Wheel: $120 to be straightened by GP Frame and Wheel
Tire: $FREE from Thatch
SS LInes: $60? I forget... coulda been $40...

That part was just dumb luck. Ebay, right time, right place.

On the svrider website there is a new thread about a newer speedo conversion that someone did. It seems really easy. I have a GSXR front end with no speedo and dont really worry about it. On the otherhand The bike will be a track bike and the speedo wont be needed. But read through the post (below) and if you get all the speedo stuff together before you do the swap there will be no issues with speedo and odo readings what so ever.

I went the easy route and got a veypor for now. Once I go to the auto tach, I won't need a speedo.

I think a gsx-r 1000 race tail may look real good. I need a cf front fender and a black tank. Looking real good though :9

Yeah, that'd look hot. See if you can get hooked up with a STOCK GSXR1k tail so that you already have lights and such. One of your racers may have one...?
