Quarantine Beard Challenge!

How you going to wear a mask with a beard,I’m just letting the hair on my balls grow maybe I’ll braid it,
 
I'm doing the, "I already have a beard so I'm just going to continue letting it grow," challenge.

I am not. Neither are many of my friends and plenty of you manly men that don't prefer beards. Not just in my age group of mid 30s but all the way to 60+.

For those of us that don't like beards, many are taking the challenge to not shave until shelter in place/quarantine is over.

Yeah, I had a solid 2+ weeker going, but then I had to go to the grocery store. Safety first, bye-bye beard.
 
I'm way ahead of most of you. My wife always wanted me to have a beard. So now I sport a white medium length one. Then she wanted me to let my hair grow. So now I have a ponytail. I think she's got the hots for Gandalf....or possibly she digs Cousin It....

I ditched the beard/mustache as soon as they started to come in grey while the rest of me isn't there yet.
Looking older came in handy before I turned 21 but it ain't so cool now.
 
Real question for those of you shaggy bastards, what do you use to trim/shave your beard.

A normal razor that I'd normally use when I'm only 2-3 days in sounds like a lot of work and maybe a bad idea.

I don't want anything too expensive because I doubt I'll ever need it again anytime soon.

I'm sure there's an easy answer to this but I am in uncharted territory here.
 
I trimmed with a Phillips hair trimmer that I have since forever ago, the largest attachment that has numbers, I used the lowest one, 1 .. and then unfortunately , hard work ;) with the razor.

I haven't shaved since the quarantine started.

'Course, I haven't shaved since November 2013.
