lol, a project manager that I used to work with was telling me a story about a project he worked on in Montana.
A subcontractor got one of their D8s sunk down into some epic mud up to the cab, so to get it out, the geniuses put a chain on another D8 and chain up to the cab of the stuck D8.
Took a running start with the other D8 and yanked the cab right off the stuck one, so now they have a stuck D8 with no cab on it.

It's a shame the guy felt he needed to kill himself. Apparently his rampage was due to the city council who his letter claimed was "fucking with him", which I don't doubt..

Lots. If they crack and pull some shit like that it usually means they were gonna crack anyway no matter the cause... gubment oppression, , teacher gave a bad grade, bullies pickin' on ya, Christmas with the in-laws, they didn't have McRibs when ya went into McD's, got cut off on the freeway...

Spoken like somebody that has never had a town draft a retroactive ordinance that is so specific it only targets 3 properties owned by one person... that they didn't like.
There are a lot of very small, petty people out there in city & town governments.
