:laughing

Just kidding, that's a little retirement gift we bought ourselves. Pepper will be my moto van, and will likely make appearances at Stonybarf and the MCMA.

I'll get more photos posted up as I actually get time to do stuff with the van.

:laughing

What a transition!!! :p

Congrats on the new mobile digs! :thumbup

Pepper is road worthy. I managed to crack the upper right corner of the windshield but chose to install it anyway. The installer said the fit was better than a lot of new cars.

Nathan is Pepper's hero for sure.

This is the winning pic right here. It gets lost on account of being at the bottom of the page.

I did not know the van ended up in Costa Rica?? :p

Nope but it is hiding out in Zombieland.

I need to post a lot more pictures of the work. Nathan did a brilliant job.

I was just joking of course. :teeth

Wow!! Congrats on the new camper! That thing looks awesome!

G has extracted herself from waterwork but far from retired. Spending days in the Lincoln with a shotgun chasing down deadbeat clients :mad

Saw this video on a tricked out 118 like mine.

I do have a shower, but it is not enclosed.

Pepper has returned!!! Evicted from the yard to make room for the new RV poor little Pepper spent more than a year exiled to our property in Upper Lake. In that time the window was smashed, the van was ransacked and most of my stuff was stolen. The mice decided to winter in Pepper and we pretty much decided this was the enfd for the little guy.
Then this happened.

Brings me to this weekend. A You Tuber that has helped via internet on so many nick knack BS stuff sent a message tha he and his family were in CA and would love to check out the van. 🎉

Enter THE FLORIDA VAN MAN, his wife and BIL. He spent 2 days with us and gave Pepper a pretty thorough exam. With his insight I'm comfortable spending another several dollars into the van. In the meantime, it is the official transport vehicle of these wild things.

New Hit list:

Alignment and 2 new front tires
Fix the AC
Install aftermarket passenger side electric window
Install decent stereo (need help with this)
Replace the stolen stuff especially the water heater and portable shower stall.
Find a new sliding door

All in all, I'm glad Pepper is back, I adore this little van.
I'm planning a trip to Molar City late December for some dental work then dropping little Pepper off at a body shop in Tijuana to be beautified. Hopefully the Chinese Unicorn will be here so that I can ride Baja before returning for the van.

All this has filled in the blanks, I got lost with the Pepper/MoHo transition, why you dropped Pepper,
The car, news. Swapped the trash Pandas for dogs, and transitioning from the waterfront?

An official water woman, sliding me an attaboy for flip flop tan lines?
I have lost my time with sailboards/Hobies, I no longer can maintain a sailors, "no flaps tan line".
Just an Az, guy, NOT a sailor, anymore, , ,
:shocker Don't look at me I'm Hideous , , ,

Last night we installed the very budget electric window upgrade. Serious Chinese engineering. The kit is actually pretty ingenious really. It comes with an assortment of gears that snap over the inside of the window crank mechanism. Then you get a plug that covers up the hole once the crank handle is removed.
They work well and now it’s easy to roll the window down for the dog. It is all about the dog.

Kind of crude switch mounting but it works.
