Replace Pads/ Rotors AND Calipers on a brake job...WTF?

Most beemers sold in the USA are pretty much sporty cars with comfort, so yeah they use performance parts in pads and rotors probably.

I might be affected by German marketing but I think their idea is, "you've bought the sporttscar , now don't be skimping on something as small as parts". Euro cars used to have customers that bought them over there only if they could afford it.. It's a little different over here no, considering probably most bimm/merrc and such are bought on a three year lease loan by people who don't want to replace anything... So they complain.

There was a shop in downtown San Diego when I lived there in the 90s called "Brake Depot". They advertised their $29 brake jobs, but magically, everyone that came in needed all new hardware :wtf It didn't take long for the class action suit, and the subsequent cease and desist order. Goodbye Brake Depot, hello THIS place. :laughing
