Ride this Sunday?

What time are you guys meeting up? I'll come say hi and pose at Starbucks with ya, but I can't ride until my stitches come out of my hadn.

Waiting on the wife to give me the green light.....tentative......crosses fingers

Hey Eddie, glad to see you back :thumbup

Update....

Sorry guys, I can't make it :( The wife has other plans. Till the next one, have a great time and safe travels :ride

I'm annoyed with DMV right now. The reg renewal for my 150 never came in the mail. I discovered this 2 wks before the expiration (my fault as I should've noticed month before). Called DMV to ask what's up. Was advised to send a check and statement of facts. Still no new tag as of yesterday. Called them again and was told it'll take up to 6 wks. :mad With a M-F job, no way I could go to DMV office and take care of it. :( Anyhow, I'm iffy about riding a bike with an expired tag.

do you have AAA? If so, try them. If not, you can always take the Mini CBR 400rr :p

Noo, I wanted to see the plated CRF!!

Noo, I wanted to see the plated CRF!!

You'll see it on the next group ride (and you can take it around the block). It looks like the pictures but I added a tall seat, slightly taller bars, a 30T rear sprocket, and my Trailtech Vapor. I'll have change out the piston and rings (since the motor smokes a bit) before I trust it on any longer rides.

Have you figured out your range/mileage on that thing?

No but it seems pretty shitty :p I'm thinking it'll get about 40 miles per tank (the CRF tank is pretty small). The Takegawa 124 doesn't like anything below 4500rpms. I'll also need to check the jetting since it's not that smooth at partial throttle.

holy shit that has a 124 in it?l

Yup. Takegawa 124 superhead/special clutch/3spd close-ratio tranny/oil cooler, Mikuni VM26, and ported head. It still rips even though it could use a new top end.

I'm out as well. I'm going to spin wreches tomorrow and hold out for a little better weather. Hope to catch the next one.
