Riding while under the influence of Marijuana.

heres the thing most people dont understand. Different bodies react differently to marijuana. i am a heavy smoker. cigarettes and weed(tryin to quit cigarettes tho). i smoke so much im almost not normal without a blunt a day. TO ME...once again... TO ME, i ride much safer under the influence of marijuana. why? not sure of the exact reason, i just feel more relaxed..not in a hurry.. not caring to look good or not. To other people, you may have had a horrible experience with marijuana, or you might not be able to handle it. but to me, and other riders like me, marijuana is like a necessity. e.x an alcoholic is to alcohol as ME is to marijuana. except we can still control ourselves under the influence unlike alcoholics. why do you think cops care more about driving under the influence of alcohol than marijuana? either way, i've never disrespected a non-smoker just because he or she doesnt smoke. so why disrespect smokers if you know nothing about it?

Agreed, but that's just how some people in this country are after being forcefed misinformation for almost a century on the affects of THC. Some people like to argue over the internet or make others feel lower while elevating themselves without any having any real knowledge about one of the safest, and beneficial plants on this earth. Most will come around eventually once legalization is in full effect and everyone sees how much better life is without the destructive effects of prohibition, but never underestimate the power of ignorance.

I agree except for the "control yourself" part. Why disrespect smokers? Who is disrespecting? Smoke all you want, just don't ride stoned. Despite your beliefs, it interferes with your ability to ride. You have a drug habit or two and are making excuses for it.

what i meant by that is pretty much what it is. drunks cannot control themselves. its almost impossible to operate a vehicle DRUNK. however if you're stoned, you just say "fuck it, i dont have to go anywhere. Ill just smoke more weed" hahaha. and the 18 pages before this post shows who are disrespecting smokers and why they disrespect them.

Your assumption that people who voted that it's a "horrible idea" to ride stoned have no deep experience with the substance is sadly mistaken.

As I said earlier; you need to get a better quality product. :laughing
 
it's ok to ride if you have only taken a small hit or two, it relaxes the body, and can help concentration.
now if you've been hitting the vaporiser or two foot bong with the ice cubes in the chamber, different story. in which case most people are likely to stay where they're at.

i guess it depends on tolerance level though doesn't it? someone who has one beer may become intoxicated while someone else would not. i dunno, i'm no expert and not advocating one way or the other. it is ofcourse best to ride if you have nothing in your system.
