Sandals - How do you...

these are the type of keen sandals that hunneeez has worn for years. I think this is the 2nd pair since I met him. it's berry durable. signature rubber toe at the front. the style has not changed, it is a popular one

How do I read this thread like 2 weeks ago, change nothing
about my sock or moisturing methods, and all of a sudden have rough heels?!?!

...do these things???

I've always worked construction or in a moto shop or...some place where exposed toes just doesn't work. So i just never had sandals of any kind. I even thought it was spelled sandles. But my wife bought me some of those non thong type that velcro in a few places and dared me to try them. So for the last few days I've been wearing them as long as I'm not working.

My feet have never been this filthy, rough and vulnerable! Is this how you sandal people exist?

Its not been easy, and I've obviously exposed a new weakness, or phobia in myself. Maybe both. :loco I now find myself even more contemptuous of you heathens, and wonder if anyone thinks things through anymore. The lack of concern for others, your personal hygiene, and your own general below the knee wellness is a sign of how bad things have become. :laughing

PS - Its fucking hot up here and im going to keep wearing them because they are admittedly much cooler. This doesnt mean im wrong, just a hypocrite. :teeth

Do you wear sandles 24/7? Do you were those thong things??!!! The horror...

if you want the comfort, but not the exposure, check out arcopedico. they have lace-ups and slip-ons. both are super comfy, very breathable (the uppers are loosely woven fabric) and have great arch support.

Yeah, like awake said, Keen sandals are what I like. Very much better than anything prior though I am sure they have finally been challenged by somebody.

Biggest drawbacks of Keens are rocks that get stuck in em.. In every other way, they are indestructible and reliable. And protecting your toes from kickin' boulders in the water is priceless.

I love wearin em all summer. But now I have come down with plantar fasciitis and doc says to lay off em so much. Interested in brand mentioned immediately above, never heard of em.

I have all three types: Velcro dad sandals, heavy-assed FloJo flip-flops, and Jordan slides. If I could walk around barefoot I would. At one point in my life I did. My soles were so tough it would have taken razor sharpness to cut through. If I didn’t have to worry about offending my fellow earthlings I’d go about my daily business in my birfday suit.
