SENA speaker replacements

Sena vs. Cardo

Android vs. Apple

I was a Cardo user who swapped to Sena. Never had an Apple but a similar debate in my mind

Can someone explain to me why IPhones don't have a "back" button/control?

Don't mean to threadjack, but every time I use my wife's phone, I can't go back to the previous screen. Maddening!

I love when I can hardly hear my music, then it stops and my 20s starts repeating, "say a command".

Favorite feature, by far.

You can disable that...the tap to activate voice control. If I recall, it’s high sensitivity, low sensitivity, or off. Turn it off.

Uh, I can't tell if you're serious...

Swipe the screen right. That is the 'back button'.

Any update on those UCLEAR speakers?

Was reminded by how shitty the Sena 20S is on the way to work this morning... Lasts a whole 10 seconds between "battery level is low" to completely dead.

I've been meaning to install them - I've had them sitting out of the package for about 2 weeks now - been traveling for work and haven't been riding - will try to get them in this weekend and report back.

I'm dreading rerunning the speaker wires in my helmet lol

Quick update on my Sena setup.

I've had this setup within my AGV helmet for a few months now and was not satisfied at all with the product. Music was low, voices from phone came in blaring loud and it sounded like blown out speakers. Needless to say I was very unhappy.

If you aren't aware my AGV helmet does not have ear compartments. It's just cushion all around the helmet and my speakers have been behind them.

I recently moved those speakers from behind the cushion to right up on my ears and holy hell this product went from zero to hero! I can hear everything clearly, voice isn't blown out. As a matter of fact I now have to turn the volume down. My only complaint is that the speakers now rub my ears but I can deal with that by adjusting my helmet.

Just wanted to explain my situation as before I was anti Sena but my views have changed.

Like you, I've been underwhelmed with the performance of the Sena speakers and I generally use earbuds. They sound good, but every now and then one gets pushed by the helmet cushions and bottoms out in part of my ear canal, blocking the sound.

Lately, I've been considering Quiet Ride Earmuffs with the Sena or other speakers mounted inside. The helmet I use isn't particularly quiet and I suspect that this setup could be used with earbuds as well for a much quieter experience on longer rides. I haven't quite gotten to the point where I want to install something this kludgey in my helmet though.

That’s super cool however it won’t work with my helmet.

Why did I buy an AGV again?
