has anyone seen this bike? what do you think of it? to me it looks kind of transformerish. It's got to be the ugliest production motorcycle on the planet. the salesmen at two dealerships told me there has been no interest in the bike at all.

It's incredibly huge. And ugly.

Saw it at the dealership. It's huge.

The styling is a personal thing, I think it's okay..

Since the first ever magazine reviews of it were "OMG it's $200 more than the Hayabusa!" I don't see it having any market .. I guess it's too expensive, gee :p

I like it. If I had 'major $'s', ala Stan23 and V4, I would buy one of these in a heartbeat!!!

It would be a cool bike to tool around on, with the emphasess(sp) on TOOL!!! It may not be the best bike for 'touring', because of the lack of a windscreen, but I'm sure the aftermarket will remedy that in no time.

Yes, the exhaust canisters are fugly, but a 'Busa powered streetfighter, that's a no brainer!!! I'll take one.

Saw it in person at the moto show in San Mateo. Its getting great reviews in the mags...but, its huge, more expensive than a 'Busa and, IMO, its the ugliest thing on 2 wheels.

yeah, there was (probably is, still) one at GP in Santa Clara. I sat on that thing and it is HUGE, as others have said. It's heavier than the 'busa as well, and the 'busa was no waif-like DRZ to start with.

looks are in the eye of the beholder so I'll refrain from posting my opinion there :p

Sat on one in Marin towards the end of last year when I was shopping for my new bike. It was fucking HUGE, and looked like it would eat babies, but I still thought it was pretty cool. Once you sat on it and stood the bike up off the sidestand it felt very balanced and light for its weight. Kinda cool that it has the new 'busa engine in it too.

being a former BMW owner and current ktm owner even I can say it out uglies even the german and austrian bikes.

:laughing :laughing :laughing

It seemed like such an awesome idea, but execution was so, so flawed.

I saw it, I loved it
its a love or hate design, no room in the middle for kinda maybe
I hope there's no interest for it at all so I can pick one up cheap :)

i LOVE it.

but then again - i also LOVED the looks of the M109R, and had nothing but mechanical problems with it.

never gonna buy anything Suzuki which doesnt have the magic letters "GSX-R" on it's side - that's the only thing they know how to build WELL!

I'll wait fot he new V-Max to come in, and then consider switching to one of those.

If you like Naked bikes, B-King either looks great or OK. It's muscular looking Naked, real hooligan type. The Bike:Rider proportion ratio is higher then most. Like a Jockey on a Clydesdale. Someone said the tank is like a Dinning Table it's so huge. :laughing

I like naked bikes, such as the z1000, brutale, speed triple, sv650...

but this thing is very very big compared to those. I saw it in person and the exhaust alone got my head scratching. I didn't even attempt to sit on it it was so big.

Dyno'ed This King at school in multiple pulls.

Quiet Bike , like near silent status....

smooth shifting maybe a fair sum better than recent memory of suzukis i have owned and ridden....actually the shifting was more silent too....

very strange shape YES...but from what i hear they got the thing tuned for handling like no other and by inspection looks so

brakes are nissin cause everyone knows tokico radials f**King suck

Dash display is very functional and rather nice looking

OK so here is what you really want to know......

With a quick few tanks through it to break it in like 100 miles it was making

HP: 155 Torque: 95

put some more miles and heat cycles through it so about 220 miles

HP: 165+ Torque: 101+

Now here is also what you wondered

Top speed rev limiter hits in both 5th and 6th gears
so in 4th gear redline you go only as fast as that in 5th and 6th also so stock
it is top speed limited to about 158+ MPH but you get there in 4th!!!!

Now we all know that suzuki is one wire away from untapping that by cutting out the gear indicator....

One other thing its only got a A mode and a B mode AND the kicker is you have to completely shut the bike down then turn it on again if you are mode switching...

That is all i care to tell about this machine and besides all those headaches I give it my GSXR stamp of approval ....let me tell you IT's FAST!!!!

well the owners plans for that bike i got to mess with plans a turbo in the next well soon......

so put a turbo on it and shut your mouth cause its not like it will go slow enough to ever catch a glimpse
