Suzuki Gladius?

Is this bike a total replacement to the SV650?

Same here. Shithell, I've seen those FZ6R things on the road, and not a Gladius yet.

I haven't seen one either, the bike does look a little nicer in person (at the dealership) than it does in pictures, although I'm still not a huge fan. Looks best in black.

Same here. I've seen at least 2 or 3 fz6r's around berkeley regularly.

At first I thought that it wouldn't sell well because it was essentially a cheaper fz6 with more plastics to break. However, I guess that Yamaha was right to assume that what new riders really want is a fully faired 600.

As for the glady, I actually like the way it looks. It's reminiscent of a duc s4r, albeit much cheaper.

ALSO! You are the first one that describes any part of it as "Aggressive". Usually others say things more like "emo" or "hipster".... I don't care much personally, it's just a bike

as if the first gen naked SV650 wasn't an obvious look-alike of the older Monster 620/750

Get design, TERRIBLE color combo! The engine case should match the caliper paint too, which it doesn't. And that aquafresh color is atrocious!

I have had not a single parts request for a Gladius and have yet to see one in person. I am sure Suzuki has a lot of them sitting in their warehouses .
