In all seriousness I have actually been wanting to start swimming again (lap swim I assume) I use to be on a swim team but that was 4 years ago and a few lbs ago too.

When you get a chance I would love to see front and back shots of the bike. HID would work really well with white/black theme.
You should pm SennaSixty8 he got me a good deal on my HID setup (H4 bulb on a 900ss). Looks and works great, It's a 6k bulb (white with a slight blue tint). I think he can get the 4.5k bulbs though.
 
I honestly so not remember the exact amount. Pretty sure the 1 bulb kit was under $200.

very well done. Thats a sexy SV! I think the belly pan fairing did the trick for me. Also diggin' the mini front fairing:teeth
 
ya most of the stuff is OEM like the chin spolier, mini front fairing, chain hugger and seat cowl. i think people mistake it to be non-stock is cause i made it look really low profile, with the crg foldable bar end mirrors, and vortex clip ons, and osf rearsets

ya i go to deanza and sjsu, interning through deanza at NASA >.< i commute a lot!

pretty sure its my bike Technik, not very many bikes like mine if any :p
 
oh and my friend calvin took the pics on his nikon, not sure exactly what model, might be a coolpix 3100? but all he did was set timer/auto on a tripod and point and shoot. i agree he took very nice pictures =D
 
Very Very nice STurd, been thinking about getting an SV for commuting, how's that mini fairing at freeway speeds? Does it give enough wind protection?
 
lol the mini fairing that it comes with does nothing on the highway! your going to get all the air straight to the chest, but besides that, i think an sv650 2003+ is defintely one of the most commuter friendly bikes, especially the naked one cause of the touring like riding position!
