SV transformation *nude photos*

lol the mini fairing that it comes with does nothing on the highway! your going to get all the air straight to the chest, but besides that, i think an sv650 2003+ is defintely one of the most commuter friendly bikes, especially the naked one cause of the touring like riding position!

Cool man, thanks! Did you add on the clip ons? I thought the standard naked SV came with regular bars?

i thought id also post this, i drew a custom tank design myself, but when it came time to get it painted, the paintshop told me it couldnt be done cause of the shape of the tank, what a bummer, but i thought my design was pretty neat, got inspiration from the jordan bike

I saw this in person at the Calaveras ride. The OP has a lot of small details that are nice touches. It's a cool bike.

just a quick question, how did you get the oem suzuki hugger to fit with the f3 rear wheel? Are you just using a 160 sized tire or did you have to put spacers inbetween .

humm the image didnt post

shenphong, i was lucky in the purchase of the f3 wheel, it came with a tire that was stock size and everything else needed for $60!!! it fit perfectly without any mods, im sure if i stuck a 180 tire id have to add spacers

You are a lucky bastard lol

I have an F3 wheel on mine but am in search of a hugger. I have a 160 tire on their so a stock hugger would fit, but I'd like to move up to a 170 and stretching out the stock oem hugger isn't really a good idea long term in what I've read.

Just a note, I came across my wheel with bearings and rotor for $80, then put on a custom rotor, $75; then new tire about $120 and new bearings and seals something about $50 all together for that. That's well over what you spent! :cry

haha im not quite sure about that

powdercoating forks/wheels/triple clamps and other misec stuff was $450

i got a wave rotor for $200
then vortex rear sprocket for $60
spacer for $35

so other costs in addition to just the wheel/tire made it pricey
