Would it be ok to continue using the Aquaphor until it heals, instead of switching to a non-fragrant lotion? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions haha I just don't wanna eff it up.

I use "out to sea" tattoo lotion, hand made in sf. I've been told to use a water based very simple lotion only for tatts. Oil based lotion blocks oxygen from getting to the skin and therefor slows the healing process.

It's always best to ask your artist about their healing process and which lotion they would like you to use. Some have different views on certain products, and you should ask them. Just my two cents.

My tattoo near my armpit didn't hurt too much, but I just noticed during my last session that I don't feel nearly as much pain on my left side as I do my right. ... I need to get a few more sessions in to fill out my chest piece. bah..
