The Home Grower's Thread

It's strong enough for me...when I went to Portland I got some stuff that was ridiculously strong and I was blazed out of my mind.
 
The best part about cheap, middle of the road, outdoor home grown is, if im not high enough I just smoke more and i don't go broke. Works for me.

LOL, +1. Last year was my first year growing. I must have given away 95% of the harvest, and still have plenty to last until October. I will say, I get compliments on the "stoniness" on my weed (although not so much on the bud density, since we are noobs and not great trimmers).

IMHO, bud density is overrated anyway. If I wanted to sell and that's what the market wanted then so be it. But for ME, a person who grows out door and has struggles with mold and PM, A super dense bud is a recipe for a lot of a grow being lost to rot.

Fancy, centerfold worthy buds are all well and good but for home hobby grows I think some perspective helps.

Yeah, agree. All things equal, I would prefer denser, prettier buds, but aesthetics is a distant second to smoking quality. The people I've been giving my cannabis to have no complaints about the prettiness, and well, beggars can't be choosers.

Yeah, it ain't feds its the state getting greedy. MY county has a major issue with illegal grows because of what the want to charge so people chance it.
 
Wedding cake,have a few more autos to harvest then I have a photo tent going at the minute

Girl Scout cookies,I though it was an auto it’s out growing, my tent at the minute lol it’s grown above my lights going to have to bend it over a bit,it’s getting super frosty,I did reveg it by mistake

I have maybe 5 days left for mine...I don't know where my loop is for checking the tricomes :)

My solar is being installed tomorrow but ironically stopping growing until I clean up the garage and figure out the best grow size maybe 2x2 instead of 4x4
 
I have a 2-2 tent their pretty small fine if your’re only growing 2 plants ,that was my first tent I’ve grown 4 plants in it was packed.
Was a pretty good growing experience,have a bigger tent as well,I’ve got a photo grow just started I’ll put them in the bigger tent grow 2 autos in the small tent
 
I’ve gone back and forth between 1 or 2 plants and my takeaway has been

There is not significant cost difference

So I do 2 now in a 2 x 3 space.
 
4 weeks to go. Dealt with some root rot this time. I will be moving to soilless flood/drain system after this while I work on a DWC flood/drain system.

I am at height cap now, so I need to build a floating light mount which adjusts from the floor and not the ceiling so I can get some more height in the room.
