The Home Grower's Thread

He's really camo'd in there! I like it when I'm plucking around and suddenly notice a praying mantis staring at me.

Is that rare?
Should those seeds go back into the ground, would they grow?

The germination is good and unrelated to the photo. It just means they're sprouting.

So great if you’re going to continue indoor growing, but not great for outdoor grows in October

Jordan, do you ever have a problem with bugs?

With the onset of a few caterpillars, I’m ready to harvest and take a break from growing, lol

I've not any of the kind that eat the plants. I keep a clean environment and at the early stages spray the plant with some stuff that's also good for white mildew.

Since they're feminized seeds yes. Planting in medium less than 7" depth tends to skew plants male.

Thanks! I raised the lights and will monitor the moisture. ALready too tall for the grow dome.

Finally set up the humidity controller hooked up to a manual on/off humidifier and same for the dehumidifier. I realize while I may not be able to buy an ideal size of each I can actually juse use a power splitter to double the amount if needed.

Will clean this weekend before transplant

HH, my bad. I saw how small the plant was and assumed it was an autoflower.

Brokenlink, braddah you got some nice ladies baskin' in that Cali sun. I stake multiple bamboo sticks in each container to prevent moths and butterflies from landing directly on the plant. This was advised from a veteran outdoor grower and it seems to have helped. This time last year I had a semi-infestation and this year (knock-on-wood) seems minimal. So far I have only plucked ~5 after inspecting/defoliating each container.

The girls are starting to pack on some weight. Some buds are starting to do the gangster lean.
