The Official 2017/2018 NFL Thread

Baalke, wherever he is, curse him with a sudden urge to shit himself on the spot. The guy was the worst cancer to hit my team since...Policy and Eddy D. sold the future in salary deferral to win one more in '94.

Baalke should always be thought of the architect of demise.
You don't consider the Yorks to be the worst cancer?

You don't consider the Yorks to be the worst cancer?

Absolutely not. They may be money hungry pigs but they do not run the day to day operations and Jeddy-bear, for all his faults, has proven twice now that he can hire decent people to get the job done. He has made mistakes mostly because he didn't make them elsewhere like his uncle did in the family construction business back east. But he has shown an ability to learn from them so far and I'll take that. If he could find a way to get some kind of shade over the East bleachers at Levi's he'd be batting well above 500 in my book. Or, get the early season games to start in the evening rather than 1pm.

Jed owned up to his mistakes and is trying to fix them.

Baalke repeatedly doubled down on his.

Are Lynch/Shanahan the right choice? Who knows, but paying them along with paying a whole heap of other staff to NOT coach the team shows at least Jed is trying and learning from his fuckups.

now if only he could pay to put his shiny new stadium in a place that's not a fucking retarded, sun blasted hellscape , like, say, near the water..... hrm..... : |

Deja vu all over again. The Niners actually fielded a good defense today that contained the Seahawks. But Hoyernick, or Hard Luck Hoyer, whatever, gave them no hope. Over throws, dropped passes, predictable hand-offs to Hyde just reminded me of the last ten years of Niner offense, without the QB run threat of the last few with Kaep. They used up Frank Gore for years with such a limited playbook.

So depressing to see really strong defense squandered.

Two games without an offensive touchdown. Wow.

Iggles got outplayed. It was a fun game to watch tho.

I can no longer watch the Eagles without thinking of Eldritch and the hated Shitbirds. I could swear I can hear him cackling at their misfortunes.

Happy for Alex Smith though....

Of course. I can only hope he thinks of me every time the giants choke to the dirty birds.

Not to make excuses for Hoyer, cause he's a bottom of the barrel starting QB in the league, BUT...

Carolina's front 7 is ridiculous and Seattle has the best secondary in the league. That's a tough 2 weeks for any team, let alone a middling journeyman QB with a bunch of unproven WRs and an OLine that's average at best. Even with that, it took a broken ass play at the end of the game to get Seattle the win IN SEATTLE. That's insane.

Anyway rumor has it that Hoyer will get the Lambs on the short week and if he is still sucktastic they might be giving Beathard a shot.

Defense looked great with the exception of Toast Robinson.

Offensive execution still isn't living up to the play calling.

All in all it's the best I've seen my 9ers play in Seattle since the NFCCG loss four years ago.

Hopefully Reid will be back in the lineup in a few weeks.

I know. It reminded me of that period when Kaep was still decent and the defense was really good...thats the deja vu of it....except Hoyer can't even run so.....

LOL, many West Coast Football fans know the evil of the Shitbirds through me and feel the same.

Of course. I can only hope he thinks of me every time the giants choke to the dirty birds.

Not really. I have known the evil of the Shitbiords has been around since I first started watching football 30+years ago. All things considered, you don't behave like a terrible person, probably have never given anyone cancer or AIDS on purpose, or ever punched a baby, so you are not a typical Eagles fan. Have you ever like pinned him down and taken a roaring shit on a Mall Santa screaming, "EAT MY ASS YOU FUCKING RED PUTTANA!" while children screamed and watched?

If you have, you are probably an Eagles fan. Even if you're not, they are a fan of you.

G-men are in last but they play Monday night against the Lions, so all 4 could be 1-1 at the end of week 2.

Wins are wins... :laughing

The AFC West is looking like the division to watch this year.

Absolutely. KC is scary good, Carr is healthy and Denvers defense is good. I just wish I could watch my team play without paying extra money for the NFL channel.
