That was hard to watch. Fight was so short, the whole thing was available on youtube this morning before illegal uploads could get taken down.

Anyway. On to the next thing. Let's put this Golden Boy MMA shit to bed. If that's what crossdressin' Oscar is doing for his first event, he's gonna try to revive Kimbo as a zombie for a rematch with Dada5000 to top this.

UFC 231 in two weeks. Holloway/Ortega. Maybe my personal most anticipated fight of the year.
 
That's my thought too. And I'm no hater of Max at all. Love both guys. I hate fights where you go into it thinking you don't either to lose, so I gotta pick and I'm rolling with T-City.

Mark Hunt... sigh. Can't recall a good fight with him in it recently. The NZ/Oz crew didn't fare all that well at home.

TUF card was pretty snoozy, for the most part. I don't see any of the women's TUF competitors putting up much of a fight against Cyborg or what'sherface.

I like this Juan guy. Next Frank Mir? :D
 
Dillashaw/Cejudo got pulled from 233 in Anaheim so they can headline UFC's first ESPN event after the switch from Fox.

I get it, in the business sense, to do that. Open the ESPN deal with a title fight.

Kinda bummed cuz I was looking forward to that fight live though.

I'm assuming this was not done without having another title fight lined up to replace it, which is likely going to be Woodley vs Colby. No other champs from other divisions really in any talks to fight in January.

Maybe I shouldn't get too greedy. I was just at 227 in LA and got to see the huge Jones/DC 2 card in Anaheim.

It's in my backyard. I'll take what I can get.

Dominick Cruz vs John Lineker also added to UFC 233, by the way.
 
Vick/Felder should be interesting.

Ran into Vick at an airport couple months ago. How that dude can weigh 155lbs at any point in time is a miracle.

And you're right, Vick's a big boy. I'm sure he won't be doing that 155 thing forever. Same with Holloway and Ortega at 145.

But to be fair, we say that about a lot of guys who stay at their weight class forever. I saw Wilson Reis once at an event and he looked the monster who ate Wilson Reis. No clue how that dude makes 125.
