The Replacement NFL Referees

I agree with you Alan- what a joke.

Steve Young said it best; "As long as people buy tickets and watch the games, the NFL could care less about the poor quality".

Things are so bad for NFL replacement officials, the Lingerie Football League distanced itself from them

"Because of the LFL's perception it is that much more critical for us to hire officiating crews that are competent, not only for the credibility of our game but to keep our athletes safer,” Mortaza stated. “Due to several on-field incompetent officiating we chose to part ways with a couple crews which apparently are now officiating in the NFL. We have a lot of respect for our officials but we felt the officiating was not in line with our expectations. We have not made public comment to date because we felt it was not our place to do so. However in light of tonight's event, we felt it was only fair that NFL fans knew the truth as to who are officiating these games."

If I was a Green Bay fan I would be irate. I'm not and I'm glad Seatle won so no problem over here.:laughing

To me what is just as bad is the uncontrolled atmosphere these bozo's have created. Letting guys play football is one thing, not calling passing interference (a LOT) has given a lot of defensive backs the idea they can just lay into any receiver at any time and there will be no consequence. Oakland's Darrius Heywood Bey could have been seriously injured last Sunday, not because they didn't throw a flag but because the DB's KNEW they wouldn't throw a flag.

The NFL is a business. An entertainment business. They want your money, and your attention. And they're getting it.

They need to fix anything why?

Wasn't that a fun game to watch! Got the blood moving for sure :laughing
