There's only one Budman

Socks on stairs, , ,

Not quite the Boogie Man, or a Bridge out sign @ 60 mph.
Old age usually gives you long toenails for grip, curmudgeon status not yet achieved !
You weren't dancing in your underwear, as in Tom Cruise, Risky Business ?
Bamboo socks, ? Some are slick, anyway,
Carrying something bulky downstairs?

Maybe a light weight CF walker,
with lights and siren?

One serious dent in mobility, , ,:mstingray

Oh, and just because you fell down the stairs, doesn't mean that has to be the story you tell other people. "Oh, you know, I was riding a motocross bike down a ski jump, and...".
Yep.

Holy crap, Dennis!! Glad you made it through the first PT and are well taken care of. F’n socks 🧦 🤬

Well Gawd dammmmittt! I feel your pain Dennis. Shout out when you’re ready for visitors.

Get well soon Dennis. Breaking bones is for young men, they heal quicker. Only somewhat good point is it will be raining/cold soon and riding season will slow down.

Did the hospital give you the high traction socks? I have had too many pairs.

a scar at my hip bone ,. got it running in running of the Bulls.

No,, true situation; Dad gave us kids a backhoe innertube. Lived on a street on a hill. The tube got away, I ran, ran past it and then got run over buy it.

Wow. What a bummer. Stay as active as you can while you are healing. Even tensing and relaxing muscles helps.

Dammit, all I can think of now is;
" I know a guy named bodman who rides a duecat"

Ask your doc about what you can do about preventing blood clots. The inactivity you are now facing can be the cause of strokes and heart attacks. Those problems can be common with people recovering from a hip break.
