I called them yesterday and said I would not be at my appointment today and we will be adding a broken femur to the shoulder when I reschedule.

When my wife and I moved, single story was not negotiable. It wasn't necessary, but we knew better than to get stairs. It's pretty much impossible to get a single story (especially a new one) in OC. Which is why we're not in OC anymore...

Then she told me that karma loves me and you must have been destined to crash riding and be really fucked up and this was the lessor of two evils.

Always kind of thought that way to take away my disappointment when I got hurt as a young man.

Really cool to see that look for the bright side of life passed down to her. Made me feel better.

Exactly after a 3’ or so fall with no hands to help break the fall. Being big that was a lot of energy placed on that one bone.

Nothing else was even bruised.
 
Really awful news about our barf leader, but Budman seems to be taking this in stride. I admire your spirit. Get well soon, Dennis!
