It's just over the county in Santa Cruz, not LG. And SC just changed their requirements for fences outside of the city. Apparently it's legit.

But we'll see how long she can last against the combined ire of, um, everyone on our road, many of whom have been up here for >40 years and are, how can I put this nicely? Not very well socialized :laughing

Oh and get this, she apparently built is to stop her 2-year old running into the road.

And to stop people from seeing into her bedroom (which is ~200 yards from the road, FYI).

A. Teach your kid not to run into the street.
B. What the fuck are you doing leaving a toddler alone up here long enough to wander out of a 4-acre lot into the street?
C. Get some fucking curtains.
D. Nobody has time to look into your room negotiating these roads, nor would they care to anyway.

Have to wonder why the hell do you move into a beautiful, quiet, natural setting, and then encase yourself in what closely resembles a prison??? :|

I think the one pet peeve that befudled me the most this weekend.

Why is it, parents think it is totally acceptable for their fuckwit kids to run around airports and planes, bugging the fuck out of everyone.

Did I laugh, when said fuckwit caught his foot in my bag strap (mind you less then 2" away from my bag) while running circles around the terminal. And it took him to the ground like a police k9 on meth....

Fuck yes I did. As I proceeded to glare at his parental units, and offer: Shouldn't he be on a leash or something?
