Waist bag thoughts?

theres no breast pocket in the liner of your suit? thats usually where i stash my phone, DL, and CC if im riding in my full suit. u could prob get one sewn in for cheaper than that fanny pack.

I have used leather "man-butt-bags", for the reasons you are presenting, for many years. I find them very convenient for jumping off the bike and doing some quick errand, too.

The bag will probably have the plastic quick release clips. I put a zip tie through those because I don't trust them to not open or break under stress.

I have never paid over $20 for a leather butt-bag that holds a swiss army knife, ear plugs, rag, wallet, phone, and more.

When I was in Tokyo I bought this thing called a "Leggy Pouchy" .It's like a little bag that straps to your leg and has a strap that runs up to your belt if you need it. Works fine...most of the time.It didn't work so good when I was at around 100 out near Anzo Borrego Hot Springs and it flew open and I didn't notice. Until I had to get gas and found my drivers license and debit card were gone.. .Doh!

My Alpinestars doesn't have. My Berik does have. But even then only enough to slide cell phone into. I would have to just place my wallet at my abdomen and trap it in place when zipping up the suit. Have done that a few times.

I went with a "CamelBak FlashFlo hydration waistpack", 50L of water and good storage... but I still call it a fanny pack.

It's a fanny pack but if you like it just get it and use the thing, who cares.
