I lost count a 14.. that was years ago.

I currently ride an 1986 XR600R.. If it could only talk. It's really schooled me in the art of energy conservation and also how to just DO IT.. Cause this bike will do it all..

I'm not buying whole motorcycles anymore. I'm only going to put them together from other motorcycles, like this 86 XR. I enjoy riding it that much more, I love the way it sounds. I like knowing everything about it. I've spent countless hours riding it and just as many working on it.

1982 Nighthawk 650 i bough tin the fall of 1988. I cashed in my meal plan at the beginning of the semester to buy the bike. I then sold my plasma twice a week the entire semester to get money for food.

Fast forward to Feb 2003. I picked up a SV650. It had been 15 years since I had been on a motorcycle

I traded the SV650 (too soon) on a brand new 2001 Yamaha FZ1

I sold the FZ1 when my wife got pregnant with our second child. I made it a year before I HAD to get another bike. I bought a brand new 2006 Triumph Sprint ST. This was the WORST bike I have ever owned.

After 6 months of misery with the Sprint, I sold it and bout a 2003 Tuono

I LOVED this bike, and decided I NEEDED a new one. I sold the 2003 and bought a 2007 Tuono Factory

I did my first track day on the 2007 Tuono and decided I needed a track bike. I found a gorgeous 2000.5 Mille Racing (salvage title)

I did one track day with this bike and realized I was in WAY over my head. I sold the Mille and bought a tracked out SV650

I had tons of fun with this SV, but the down economy and motolust induced me to sell the SV and pick up a 2009 Daytona 675

Despite all the track bike purchases, the 2007 Tuono was my daily ride. After 33,000 FUN miles, I swapped the Tuono in on a 2010 Speed Triple SE (15th Anniversary Edition)
