I don't know of any upside down forks that use braces, due to the shape it would have to be. Instead, they tend to use larger axles.Yes, water, rocks, air flow.... But one more thing that is very important: On many bikes the fender includes a metal brace, that is in fact a fork brace to keep the forks in line as they are stressed by the up -down and side forces on the front end. The factory engineers are not just going for vanity and cleanliness.

The fact that you are factually WRONG makes your condescending criticism lame. For example, remove the front fender of almost any Ninja from the last 15 years, turn it over, and you will find a metal brace. Some are integrated into the plastic, and some are a separate piece shaped to fit inside the fender. They are there, even today.
So maybe your bikes do not have it, and the design engineers handled the fork stresses in a different way. That does not make my statement wrong, or dated. Sux to be you.![]()

....Why are you feeding the troll?
Actually I was being funny but maybe you should get your facts straight. This is 2012, the last 15 years puts you in the mid ninties which was about the time that sport bikes started changing to upsidedown forks which made the brace obsolete. So unless you mean the 250 or 500 Ninja it's an even guess as to when the older bikes had reinforced fenders or not. I had two sport bikes from the eighties, one had reinforced fender, the other didn't but I added a brace of my own so I'm quite familiar with fork braces, are you familiar with current sport bikes?
I shouldn't leave the sink anymore
