Whats the Best 600cc bike?

Hey, i was a smartass earlier, but seriously....I have a '11 cbr. I love it but....... It does get uncomfy after a while. Yesterday I did the Gary J ride. I rode from Pacifica to SF, then 280/85/17 ScottsValley, Pescadero and back to Pacifica.....i was totally tuckered out when I got home. I have a Saddlemen seat......without iy I would not have made it.
Best of luck on your decision.

Thanks for the replies guys, ill just have to test them out as well as research the pros and cons!:thumbup

How much is your budget anyways? Start with that...

R6 are very nice machines, but you'll prolly have a difficult time with it cause it's a bit high on the back so you'll end up tip toeing.
Same with a 675. These are fast, sexy bikes but has an even more aggressive posture.
I started with an FZ6R. check it out. you might like it. good power, great ergonomics, great for commutes and occasional twisties.
SV650's are awesome too.

But I would start looking around with a budget in mind first. Narrow down your options.

Well there's this kinda 600...

What do you want to do with it?

First picture, isn't a 600, is it? Looks like a 650 twin to me.

A bike shopper should get educated, on Engines...

650 twin...for the street is good/great.

600 inline four was born for track applications..so street is sucky/bad.

First bike has real handlebars...that's where they should be for the street challenges.
Second bike has clip-ons...that is a real detriment for the street.
On the mean streets, a rider should have an incentive to have everything possible going for them. It is needed sometimes.

IMHO, the best bike is the bike you feel comfortable and confident riding, conering, and even maintaining it. I used to own a k7 gsxr1000 and now I ride a MV Agusta. After ride the MV for months I think not the more expensive bike is, the better it is.The MV might be better with another rider but not with me. I now really miss the gixxer. It will take a while for you to find your best bike. Good luck with it .
