Well I know its not "sport" but still deadly and my favorite stock streetfighter look. I dont think I am ready for 1000cc yet, largest I have owned was 839cc though :D

Bone stock, 2000 RC51, because it sounds very nice, looks awesome and gives me pleasure just by looking and hearing it. Riding it ... priceless.

Ducati 999 is pretty hot. Of current bikes, probably the Aprilia RSV4.

Having never ridden either, it's really just 'cause they're gorgeous and don't have I-4s.

That question really depends upon who I am riding with or where I am going. Alone my 900 Duc is the most enjoyable. It is the easiest bike to ride fast, not the fastest just the easiest to ride fast. If I want to go out and play with the boys my ZX-10R is the best weapon. If I am going on a trip my FZR1000 is best suited to the task and finally for posing at *$ my 89 GSXR1100 turns heads and either CBX will draw a crowd.

So for me there is not a single best thus I have a few...

2009-10 Yamaha R1

Because it sounds super cool....and i own one.

And i need some reason to justify why its down at least 10HP to the previous model's numbers. :rolleyes

A few...

...of my riding buddy's have Guzzi V11's, & I currently have one in my garage while it's owner is relocating...They may be rather large for a sport naked, nor crank out the hp like other liter bikes, but once they start moving, their mass fades away & they become one big raging hormone...totally unappreciated for it's balance & style.

Vincent Black Shadow! Makes ALL the above bikes little fuckin sissy rides and you know it!

Not a "sportbike" per se, but a good "all-arounder" none-the-less. You can find these from $1K-$4K depending on mileage/condition. Does everything just great! Comfortable, fast, handles acceptable, good pillion, etc.

Great ride! :thumbup :ride

Wait, if you hook four of them together to get the 1000cc's then you have Eight wheels. :rofl Somehow I'm thinking no matter how it's done, it won't qualify as the 1000cc sport bike.

I just mounted four motors onto a common crank case to creat a V4. The chassis needed no further modification as it is without a doubt the strongest frame ever built by human hands. :teeth

Love my Sport 1000... but for the one that I haven't own yet, I guess I have to go with Ducati 1198r
