Okay, so I met this girl a little over a week ago. Puerto Rican, cute smile, a native New Yorker who lives out here now. We shared some common interests (so it seemed), and there was definitely some rapport there. We met for coffee first, dinner the second date and made plans for a third meet.

Now it seems that she's fallen off the radar completely...doesn't return voice messages or emails. :mad My question is, if most girls feel that there is no possible chemistry, why can't they just be upstanding and say so, so I won't waste my time? It's s**t like this that really pisses me off and makes me so damn cynical.

Hey, I've been doing the same thing to girls for the last few months, and I feel like a real idiot about it. She might be kind of in the same boat I am/was.

My problem was that I was basically waiting for someone, but would still go out and meet people, have fun with them, etc. The real problem happened when it looked like a relationship might be forming, at that point I would get scared, thinking if I go ahead with this, I'll not be around when the person in question finally makes up their mind.

Sadly, thoughts like that have fucked me over like you wouldn't believe. At least now I'm taking steps to not be that jerk that just vanishes and never calls back, I've actually been talking to some of the people I've blown off, and explained why I did what I did. Not that it makes it right, but most of them have been really understanding and haven't harbored any anger over it.

And even better, a few of them want to go out again ;)

So there might be more behind her actions than you think. Then again, my case is kind of a rare one, and probably not applicable to her. So, she might just be a jerk.

I wouldent trip off her, if she doesent want to hang out anymore then her loss.. oops i mean your loss, i've had one Puerto Rican before and she had the nicest ass i've ever seen, i still remember it.. nice tan athletic life guard, with that small ass white thong sticking up her ass.. damn now im drooling.. j/k.

Maybe she wanted more the first couple dates and you dident read her correctly, i've played nice guy and not tryed to hit it right away and it usually turned up bad.
 
I agree, three dates in a week is a little much . . . unless, if you . . already closed escrow . . . I'm mean "Hit It" on the 2nd date, then you would be obligated to do a 3rd date within two day's. :teeth

Whose idea was it to get together for each date? Your's? Her's? Maybe you pressed to hard to make the date's and she was just being nice and went out with you, but decided to cut and run before the 4th?

Dude, I wouldn't chase after any chick's, play the number's (many chick's), and have them chase after you.

I've only been married for a couple year's, but before that, I used to bullshit and play chick's and have them panting. And not just the skank's. Well, some of them were.
