Why do people avoid other people wearings vests?

xshixy is actually a very nice guy, helps a LOT of riders daily and someone I look forward to chatting it up with again soon.:cool

Some here really don't know wtf they are talking about and continue to spewing their typical bitterness to feel better about themselves....whatever, same old shit.:|

Vest wearin peeps, do what makes ya happy!!! THAT is what's important in life.:thumbup

thank you Mort.

I wear a vest on my bicycle if it's cold, and when I'm working in my garage when it's cold, or when I first started riding a harley.
Vest are great to keep you warm and leave your arms free to move quickly to smack people on the side of the head.
:wtf

And you are dead on the Back protector in my vest keeps my back Very warm :thumbup

This is how it works, chief. I see something posted, I agree or disagree with it, and rep accordingly. If I see something utterly idiotic, as much as it pains me to do it, I leave you a little note as to why I think you're wrong, instead of publicly humiliating you.

But then you go and post that comment on here in a pathetic attempt to look like you're the victim, and I find that fascinating :laughing But hey dude, you've got your vest and your literbike, you're such a badass, all the newbs who don't know shit must look up to you :thumbup Madd street cred, yo. Now if we could get you to quit crying over negative rep points, you'd be hard enough not to need a kevlar vest.

In other words, I'm not impressed

Ont thing OK get your point and understand it's just the way you came across. I can care less about the Rep thin, I would prefer people come out and say things like that in the open so everyone can see and repy. Yes I have a liter bike (again after 2 years of not having one) and I also have several other bike including dirt bikes so I ride not for a street rep or to be a Bad ass. Like most of the people I know that wear a Vest are members in clubs we ride and are a part of a group that has a love or the ride. Road or dirt even track or drag strip does not matter we have a love of a sport and a feeling a Motorcycle gives us. Like mortifer said we each just have our own ways, so I will see you around and you wont even know me cause I may not have my vest but I will still shake your hand and ask you how your doing...:ride

Al , I told you a year ago , get yourself a back and a shest protector.:x

Ok, changed my mind. I can't help it. Maybe the vest wearers should do a spelling/grammer check before posting. Maybe then, we could understand that all their trying to say is

" I'm an idiot that likes to rev my motor at every passing girl and at every stoplight. Just to draw attention on my uber cool R1 that I just bought and the dealer threw in an icon vest for my protection. I also like to put idiotic stickers all over my bike. I also live how the christmas lights I intergrated into my battery shine off my blinged out swingarm and rimzzz"

Seriously, have a reading comprehension ATLEAST that of a 8th grader before posting some b.s. Rant like this again

Yes you do have a sweet ass bike, and yes you have your ways and are on a correct line of attack. But no not 8th grd, your aim was to high LOL:rofl products of state colleges LOL and public school. Back to the vest thing, it has a stigma to it that goes back to the out law yes. So images are hard to get out of a persons mind, and with that change of any kind is hard to see. Once again I will say it some of the most low life piece or KAka's out there don’t wear a vest. That is because they can’t get into a club or organization for that reason. I will not say anything else because I’m waiting for the next attack. But people are what they are no matter what they wear. Hey I look totally different in my suit and tie don’t you, would you walk up to then???

By the way Cant we all just get along LMAO!!!

To me, any person riding a sportbike, wearing a "vest" is just trying to be different and noticed differently.

The simple fact of the matter to me, is If your wearing a vest, with badges all over it. I don't give 1 flying fuck at a rolling donut. Unless... It has a Veteran Flag, badge, or tag on it. Then I'll stop and give props.

Sportbikers wearing: Vests: Kevlar, bubble wrap, etc.. Fuck it. Looks WAY too constrictive, and plain weird. But hey it's your own thing. Looks about as out of place as flip flops if you ask me though.

Way to cop out and lay blame. :twofinger

That was meant as a joke to a couple people here from that bike night LOL. Not laying blame or anything negative just a PUN at them don’t read into it. At this moment I do not have my vest on; it would look stupid over my 1 piece suit. An being a veteran of Desert Storm I understand your feeling to that point. I also have an integrated back protector in my vest, so in the event of a miss hap. The more leather and gear the better piece of mind I have.

At this moment I don't even have a helmet on; it would be stupid since I am posting on barf...

You put on a one piece suit to surf the net?

I don't know about you guys, but I stay the hell away from people in vests. Especially the group pictured below....
They scare the hell out of me.

Every time I get close, I think they're gonna grab me and shank me or somethin... Just look at those beady eyes... you know he's plotting your demise:
