That was me. I was looking for the John C. Stennis but got lost. Sorry.

Are you on a hill or something? 'Cause that's below minimum fly levels. You sure it wasn't a fifteen? Air Force gets all the perks. :p

My house is at 900 feet, so maybe his alt was 2500 or so. Sounded like an 18…and I'm not complaining, I love it!

this was around the time of the Salinas airshow abt 4 years ago. I was working in Ryan Ranch at a publishing company, next to the monterey airport.

One day i stepped out of the local *$ in the plaza nearby the offices to see three F18s, one after another in full take off, thrusters shitting the most satanic looking plume of awesome.

I could have sworn they were less than 700 ft in the air. Shook the block and set off pretty much every car alarm in the immediate area.

Pretty epic in context. Its as if mankind was saying, "you know what Sky? Fuck you. Were gonna shove this loud metal dagger all up in yer guts, ya bitch."

Yah I was at the Salinas airshow a coupla years ago, on the last day, and the bonus was that at the very end of the last day, all the warbirds that were there took off for home, and many did rolls and fly-bys on their way out.

We got to see B-17 formation take off rolls, right after F18's on full A/B. That last hour of the show was full of win :thumbup

This works. I was joking about the 15s. The rules are the same. I assumed you could see the difference from that close. I get low flights because my house is where the ground suddenly goes up into the flight pattern.

Another pic or two. I love military jets and the 747.
