Interesting:

Spain has dominated the recent soccer rivalry, winning four of the last six competitive matches against France, including a 2-1 victory in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.

England vs. Argentina have each won twice playing each other the last four times; Last time was 2002 though.

Sending people to settle the empty Falklands is one thing, but the genocide of the indigenous populations of the Americas was horrific.

Well France got pummeled by Spain, didn't see that coming.

Watched Spain vs France up to Spains first point.
Spain flops at every opportunity and are much dirtier on Defense. If France players flopped like Spains, there would have been many more penalty kicks.
The Spain 1st point on penalty was pure BS, their player intentionally put himself into the other player then flopped on the ground.

I've never seen so many guys rolling on the ground as if their legs were broken from little to no impact. It was disgusting.
 
Spain played better from the very beginning and deserved that impressive win.

The foul was clear and not a flop.

When I saw it happen I knew it was a foul, but I thought it would be on the other team.

The player who committed the foul had their back completely turned to the charging player and was playing the ball, the "fouled" charging player ran through the kick of the other player.

So odd

In the 19th minute of action, Spain's Lamine Yamal drew a penalty in the penalty box on France defender Lucas Digne. France had control of the ball in their own end, but Lamine Yamal's pressure led to Digne kicking him in the thigh without realizing he was coming.

Digne was caught ball-watching on the play and clearly never saw Yamal challenging him for the ball. There was no question that Digne fouled Lamine Yamal, an early mistake for an otherwise stellar France team.
 
Spain played really tough defense and definitely hussled.
But nobody saw the flopping they did while France did hardly any flopping and played cleaner defense?
