Cloud is storage, AI is very heavy processing. There is very little comparison for energy and cooling requirements, especially with solid state hard drives.

I mean, if there was ever a poster child for a New Reactor to sell the excess electricity generated to California's shitty grid, there you have it.
 
The California side of Tahoe is mostly an abomination where our actions are in direct opposition from out mouths, while the Nevada side is ironically the inverse even with the debauchery.
 
Won't work that way.
Citizens will pay significantly higher rates for their Electricity.
Data centers will get a volume discount.

I am anti AI for sure. For many reasons. But there is zero reason for regular consumer rates to rise.

come on dude, that’s some bizarre feather ruffling. referring to agriculture as AG is no where new to the lexicon. it’s been around since before you were born (~ the 1830’s).
