Yeah dude, F that! A CF hanger would look way better on your bike anyway. Get one on fleaBay for like $30 tops. Or just install one of your passenger footpegs (and take out the actual footpeg if you want).

actually tried using one of my passenger pegs today before my ride and it wouldn't even fit!?!? weird right? there was no room for it between the pipe and subframe. it IS very possible that I just really like the position of the can its self right now and didn't want to move it outward to fit the peg it. didn't even try to roll the can to see. just gave up and rode!!!:flame

Luke, if the system was designed to NOT work with the rear passenger peg mounts, a hanger would've been included. You have to rotate the can to make it fit. Else, you'll have to buy a custom hanger.

You SHOULDN'T ride without a hanger. Your exhaust wasn't designed to hold its' own weight without the support of the hanger. It could cause problems with the headers and/or the can.

I'm sure Yosh provided the little cannister holder (metal ring with rubber padding), use that with your passenger peg. Loosen the can on the header and move it around until they fit. Otherwise, custom hanger it is :party

yes, as mentioned in the first post. didn't move then can at all, the the space between the subframe and can its self was minimal. i will try today. wasn't looking like it was gonna happen yestrday though.

You very well could have destroyed your very expensive exhuast by riding without a hanger. :thumbdown

custom

looks as if it's gonna be custom unless someone can give me some input because tried again today and there is no room to move the pipe so that the stock hanger fits.
open to suggestions.

This was after you loosened up the can on the midpipe and the midpipe on the headers? That should give you a bit of extra room to move the can into place.

i'm thinking its time to put the wrench down & step away from the motorcycle :facepalm

How about removing the springs, bolting up the bracket and reattaching the springs?

That's what I've been saying for a while now, to loosen the can and the midpipe so that he can reposition the can to fit into the hanger.

not to worry. custom hanger it is..should be done within the week. keeping my fingers crossed for something of utmost cool.
it's the hands a one of the best fabs in the county so i have zero doubts it will be one off and cool. thanks for all the input otherwise.

Custom map

Power Commander came before the full system and I'm on the hunt for someone to custom map mine. know the guys at DynoJet in Vegas. may have them email me something to work with before having something "custom" made for $300. im maxed out like most others right now. the GSXR1000K8 and full Yosh system map is avail for free on the site and prob what ill use for now. know there is more power to be had.

Manny @ Leovince won't charge you that much he used to do maps for Dynojet. Leo is in Richmond, call Manny (510-232-4040) he's done a couple of my bikes. :thumbup
