Wonder if the people complaining so much about transgenders have ever even seen one in real life in their entire lives. Doubt it. It's just another boogeyman drummed up by a certain party who wants your vote so they can proceed with their REAL goals, which are to destroy government and replace it with "free market" control, thereby eliminating regulations, eliminating protection from financial scams, and harming the environment in the pursuit of more profit.

It's seemingly impolite, most likely intentionally impolite considering that toxic channel's obvious agenda when you look through their videos, but the old definition of gender is that it's 1:1 with sex and the new definition is that gender identifies socially constructed traditionally male/female characteristics, so one group is still working from the old definition and one from the new. People should always agree on what language they're going to speak before they even bother trying to speak them, otherwise they're just talking past each other using words the other doesn't understand. Sports should flip their rules to sex instead of gender so it properly conveys their original intent regardless of where one stands on the definitions.

Yeah, the issue is, this person has said "I am a woman" and so calling them anything but is rude as fuck and intentionally denigrating. It's like using the n-word with a hard R just because "society used to think that's okay." Fuck them for their bigotry.

It's more complex than that. Every word has had a difficult transition for years/decades when the definition changed. Even queer hasn't fully transitioned. There was a period when black was too coarse and African-American was pushed as the replacement, though black seems to have rolled back a bit into being acceptable, but here we sit and I honestly don't even know if black is fully okay. I agree with fuck them in particular, but not as a blanket rule.
 
I'd bet there's a matrix of caring showing that the closer you get to the front, the more you care about any issues in front of you and it doesn't matter what the specific reason is. When you're ranked 377th out of 1500, it's probably hard to care about the difference between that and 376th.
 
Good. It’s about time for this to happen.

If I was a woman, competing in competitive sports, I would be offended if I had to compete against a man. Surgeons can’t create any sex. They can only create the illusion of another sex.
