Yup. When you're broke, you don't have $3.5k. And now you must go into debt to dispose of a loved one

Yup. When you're broke, 3.5k is a lot to suddenly disappear from your bank account when you're already reeling from the loss of a family member.
Just curious on what moral high ground you stand on to lecture peoples parents? Pretty interesting, I'd say you're just as rude as him for that shitty comment as well because, his might have been in bad taste but, yours was serious...
Just saying. I'm just here to eat popcorn and watch the fireworks.
A 16yo who made a bad decision is one thing. A family using her death through Go Fund Me as a lotto ticket is another. Typical and sad.
How much was it?
Donate me to science or just toss the body off the Bay Bridge under the cover of darkness. I won't mind at that point, no reason to spend any money.

My father donated his body to science. Everything was free and then sent us info on what type of work host issues were used for
Was kinda cool actually
You're totally entitled to whatever opinion of me you wish!![]()
I had to borrow money from my Mom to pay for my Dad's funeral... the woman who divorced him, for cheating on her.
If it weren't for her, my options would have been GoFundMe, or hoping that the military would be able to help (my Dad was a veteran).
I don't imagine many of us have a few thousand just laying around to spend on an unexpected funeral... and you've got a pretty narrow window to come up with the money...
That's fine. I suppose. Yet if a family is going to stand on a social media street corner and beg, perhaps they should also provide an accounting to their benefactors as to how the money was spent. Is it so hard to post a few receipts? What's the matter with transparency?
Hopefully, not too much went to cousin Homie for the Bud Lite.
