OK, I have an idea. I propose we pull our resources together and start the F(W)rong School of Motorcycle Awareness.
First order of business, we are all assigned motorcycles based on our level of riding ability. From there F(W)rong will instruct us in the ways of how to be a true moto-scholar.
OK, who wants to sign up? I'm really excited about the course on how to drag my knee on Highway 9 so I can impress all the peeps at Alice's with my scrubbed pucks.
OK, everyone hush, Professor F(W)rong is about to address the class...god, I must be bored today.

Adventure and Dual Sport
A few years ago I posted a note here questioning why someone would buy a new R6 when they ride through the hills at a Harley pace. I met a guy out in Livermore and formed an impromptu group ride, and it turned out that he was pretty slow. Boy did I get flamed on that one. I've learned to not judge people by the bike they ride since then.
And Fr0ng, please separate the Ducati Superbike and Supersport riders from those of us on Monsters, Multistradas, and Sport Tourers. Not all Ducatis are designed as race bikes and some of them even cost less than your Honda. I only paid $4300 for mine, for example.
About half of the Monster owners I know just want a bike that they can love to ride and aren't all that fast. Most of the ST2 and ST4 owners want a long distance bike that can also go fast when they feel like it. I'm not sure what the Multistrada owners were looking for in a bike, but I would love to have one myself.
So what is the equivalent of "racism" regarding bikes. Some of you appear to be motorcycle racists.

Here's another question:
Why is it that the only young, Asian, attention-whore poster with a screen name that rhymes with a device you can smoke marijuana with that has less than a year's riding experience feels the need to pose such a blatantly obvious flame-inducing topic like this one and then be surprised when any number of riders take him to task about it?
Really Frong, I read many of your posts/topics and know you are capable of posting humble, insightful, serious and informative comments. Why you would, other than a deep desire to simply piss off many other folks out there, watch your post count rise, or be made to feel somehow "noticed", post such a waste of time as this, I really would like to know.
In no way, if you are honest with yourself at all, can you deny the fact that a posting like this is anything more than a very pre-teen way of attracting attention to yourself. People who like and ride Duc's well, will of course disagree with you. The people that do not like them or ride them, of course will agree with you. The people that you attempt to label in your post - Ducati riders that "ride for chit", obviously are not even going to respond as they would either be less than honest enough to identify themselves as such, or be want to be labled that way. How this does anything but be a completely useless waste of time, I don't know.
Of course, I have pee'd away the past 5 minutes replying to what I know is a waste of time, because anyone that has acted the way you have, for as long as you have, certainly isn't going to change anytime soon, if ever. But in hopes that my small contribution to the massive amounts of similar advice you have received in the past may someday penetrate your extremely thick and conceited skull, and help you to see that this is how civilized and friendly people do everything to AVOID acting like, I thought it necessary.
Carry on with your childish ways.
By the way, I've been focusing on trying to ride better for the last 20 years, thereby keeping me from binning it. Perhaps every time you feel the need to write a really useless post like this, you should go out for a spin and work on that instead.

I really hope you don't choose to race 600 Prod when/if you start racing in the AFM. If so, you're in a for a rude awakening. Lap times don't mean shit when you're dicin' it up w/ two or three riders within a foot or two of you.
