From RideApart.com.

It's still amazing that Honda's keeping the Fireblade so analog after all these years and it's competitors throwing electronic aids in their bikes, but in some ways, I can actually appreciate that.

For an analog superbike though, I think it looks proper. I'm a big fan of brushed aluminum finishes on the chassis.

If I was in the market for a literbike, that's the one I'd want, (assuming the price isn't ridiculous...should be, what, $2,000 more than the stock unit?)

EDIT: Story now says $3,000 premium.

More manly that way. Also manly to walk off a crushed foot from a cold tire lowside while pussy with TC fumbles with phone trying to call for help.

The latest generation CBR1000RR has had the smallest tail on a superbike for awhile now, but from the looks of this one, Honda's pumped it up, including that battery tray from the looks of it.

Good to see Honda offering a street bike with an option for top-shelf suspension/brake bits and bobs. :thumbup

I believe that battery tray is actually for the ABS unit :nerd
