2014 Honda CBR1000RR SP

...Hooli, you know you bought one of the few Honda's to have known issues over the years....they are better now. Someone with your vast experience should have known better than to buy a first year bike :twofinger I keed, I keed.

That was one of the reasons I felt secure going with the first-year-in-the-States CB1000R back in '11... it had already been around for 3 years in Europe. Most solid bike to ever come out of Italy :laughing

Like it, hate it, no matter. I'll still bet that if you could be blindfolded while test riding bikes that 8/10 people would choose a CBR1KRR over any other 1K sportbile. It's not as "cool" to own the Honda, but it's still probably the best all-around 1k for mortals....

I'd make the same bet, only with my Ohlins/RaceTech-sprung, Yoshi-fitted CB1Kr vs. the field of naked liter sportbikes.

2 years and 27k miles of ass-kicking (and problem-free) bliss. It's a shame that the prospective market has ignored this bike.
