Victor, you look stunning! :laughing

Beautiful bike man! Enjoy :thumbup

No, it really isn't. It's classified in the cruiser genre for lack of any other to fit it into.

More of a hot rod naked. :cool

I would say it's more of a standard.

I had a "standard" back in the 80s. Honda VF1100 Sabre. 130 hp. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. It was a little top heavy, but was a marvelous performer.:thumbup

I guess nakeds are like the old standards.

It's got a 62" wheelbase or something like that. That's in cruiser territory. That said, I think if it didn't have that 240 rear tire the word cruiser would never come up when talking about this bike.

And the K1200S isn't really a sportbike, either.

Yep. It, the ZX14, and the 'Busa are usually classified as hypersport bikes, and it's well understood that they have different geometry and performance characteristics than the S1000RR, ZX10, and GSX-R1000 respectively.

Point taken, but my BMW K1200s (sport) had a 62.4" wheelbase, some Adv bike are also close to 62". :dunno

Talk about picking the fly shit out of the pepper, I said "sport" as in "sport" oriented, the word is even in HyperSPORT! :rolleyes

Does a sport cruiser category exist?

They've tried to create one here and there. The Honda Magna, Harley FXR, and the Harley Street Rod come to mind. The Magna had a detuned VFR engine. The Street Rod probably the closest attempt....more ground clearance than the standard V-Rod, mid mount pegs, and USD fork. But still way more cruiser than a spr0tbile.

The word sport is in sport touring too, that doesn't mean ST bikes are sportbikes.

The hypersport bikes have significantly different performance characteristics than sprotbiles. Longer wheelbase, typically lower center of gravity, less clearance.
