2025 F1 Season (spoilers will be discussed no doubt starting on March 16th)

Lando really needs to be more consistent on quali laps. You'd think he would be with what seems like a noticeable car advantage. It looked like he was well-up on Hamiltons time with 2 corners to go.

It’ll be hilarious if RB swaps Lawson and Yuki and the drivers just swap results. RB needs to get their shit together w upgrades/setup and make a car that more drivers can put in Q3 & the points.

Great Sprint result.

Should be an interesting race after Qualifying changed the sprint Qualifying result by quite a bit.

Spoilers ahead......

Sucks for Ferrari.

Leclerc's car was found to be 1kg underweight while Hamilton's was thrown out for excessive skid-block wear - the same infringement concerning the plank on the underside of the car that cost him second place at the United States GP in 2023 when a Mercedes driver.

In a statement, Ferrari said: "Charles was on a one-stop strategy today and this meant his tyre wear was very high, causing the car to be underweight.

"With regard to Lewis' skid wear, we misjudged the consumption by a small margin.

"There was no intention to gain any advantage."

they flooded this grid with a bunch of new drivers who are somehow worse than last seasons. top 5 for the year: Mclaren, Verstappen, Russel and Hamilton.

Leclerc for too light of a car at the end of the race, Hamilton for a skid plate that was too thin when built.

I imagine that Redbull is lobbying hard to have Hamiltons win in the sprint race taken away.

The skid block thickness is measured after the race because they grind down. That’s the known effective way to police ride-height. It wasn’t “when built”.

Speculation is that Ferrari changed so much after the Sprint causing a weird balance and Lewis to run too low. The fact that Charles was faster than Lewis w a broken wing suggests a bad balance for both. Or maybe Lewis was a lot heavier from using less fuel or something.

Tough weekend for everyone. No one practiced on a set of Hards because they had to save their only 2 sets for the race. New tires on a new surface at a diff time of the year, oof.

Not very exciting to watch once lap one was over.

I was happy to see Lando hold on with his growing brake issue. And speaking of brakes, bummer for Alonso. I would have liked to see how he could have performed.

Both the RBs and the Haas are looking real good. It was fun watching all the newbies getting aggressive with each other.

Interesting reading that both Alpine and Ferrari were not challenging the ruling and flat out admitted they made "errors". That to me means they knew they were absolutely in the wrong.
