2025 F1 Season (spoilers will be discussed)

Don't they all want to move up, tho?

Herta's their golden boy for sure. I don't understand why not Palou.
Palou is not American and Cadillac was getting a little flack for not having an American driver. Yes, there are no American drivers (IMHO) that can currently race captively in F1 (either they are not good enough (cough...Sargent...cough) or they do not have a Super License (Herta's problem)). So, I feel Herta was a decent choice to try out and put in F2 for some experience and to get the points he needs for his Super License.

Also, Herta has been talked about for quite a while now. In 2015 he raced in the Euroformula Open Championship and did well. So, he does have a little experience in a European series. It will be very interesting to see how he does in F2.

Horner to Cadillac as team principle. Just had this conversation with someone this weekend...was thinking it made sense. I expect Max to move over at some point.

Oh, that is rich. Punch Face to Cadillac and Andretti. Hand wringing in abundance in anticipation, Seriously though, I wish the team and all aboard the best of luck. With sincerity.

Monza should be an exciting race into turns 1, 2 and 3 with that front five.

JFC Max pulled that pole lap out of his ass.

Interesting that Mercedes ignored Russel's request for intermediate tires for Q3.

Penalty for Ollie?!? The stewards are dumb.

McLaren is also dumb. You don’t setup your car to be one of the slowest in the trap at Monza. And the team orders 🤦‍♂️

Well, F1 is a team sport.

Piastri and McLaren know they don't want another Multi 21 bullshittiery occurrence that happened to Weber (Piastri's manager) when he was at RBR.

McLaren having Lando pass Piastri I think was due to what happened last year (I think) when they asked Lando to let Piastri back by because of the pitting order. They wanted to secure the driver's position that was trailing by pitting them first (risking an undercut). In this case, I do not think there would have been an undercut if it was not for the front left problem (3 hits with the "gun" to get it tight) causing a overly long pitstop. It was not Lando's fault so McLaren did the right thing in my opinion.

This race was really exiting for the first few laps. Once the DRS train got established, not so much.

On a side note, Gunther Steiner is now a team owner. However, not in F1 (or any car series), he is now the owner of Tech3 in MotoGP.

Hadjar started in pit lane and finished 10th, Albon went from 14th to 7th and Hamilton from 10th to 6th.

I’m not a fan of street circuits. Street circuits at night at night are the absolute least interesting.

There was a lot that almost happened there, and then didn't.

What a strange end result.

All the red flags were used up in QP, weird.

Lando is really losing this ship to missed opportunities.

Congrats to Sainz for holding onto a podium position.

Ferrari continues to under deliver.

Anytime both of your cars finish behind Tsunoda is a bad day.
