The build is in its final stages, so I thought I'd share the process as it goes. :)

Sweet guess you finally got those custom pistons you were waiting for. Can't wait to hear that car in person. I thought it was loud before its going to be crazy now.

looks nice and quiet :thumbup

haha yeah.... :)

yeah the pistons came in! They started the assembly on the motor this morning. Whole thing should be done this next week!

Its a bored and stroked L92 motor (identical to the new LS3, once you break it all the way down like I have). So its technically correct to call it a L92 stroker OR a LS3 stroker.

Its no crate motor though...brand new build from the ground up, and I've lost track of how many custom and 1-off parts are going in it lol. I'll have new pics with the actual 427 today hopefully.

Lookin' good mang

The entire rotating assembly is fully balanced now. Assembly is going on right now and should be done on schedule!

The pistons are absolutely stunning. They have extra support behind the piston skirts and are fully polished for smoother operation and longer life. As Kyle (my engine builder) put it, there isn't a finer set of pistons on the market. They also have a black section on each skirt, with a polished W etched into the surface (W for Wiseco) VERY cool looking. I'll have pics tomorrow. These are the very FIRST set of these pistons made, production #1. Currently no one else has these pistons as they haven't hit official production yet. So it was pretty cool to get them.
