looks expensive, whyd you buy the pushrods before you assembled the motor?
 
I didn't. My engine builder did all the valvetrain geometry and ordered a custom set.

Kinda weird to do it with out an assembled short block but i guess all you really need is a crank/cam/block/ and some cylinder heads and you could do it...hope ya trust him :teeth.

Lemme know how it goes, you still gotta lane if i still get some space :p

I'm not sure how he did it since i wasn't there, but he had all the parts for it. don't worry man, we'll line up after its all done :cool

what sort of numbers are you looking at (at the wheels)?

Not sure. First runs will be on an extremely conservative tune, since I have to break the motor in safely. I also need a larger intake lid and MAF. I think the break-in runs will be in the 490's. Once its broken in, and the lid and MAF have been changed, and an aggressive tune, it should do 530+ rwhp.


Oh yeah, the shortblock was finished today. Longblock will be done on monday, and install will start sometime tuesday.
