7 Reasons Shoppers hate Costco

I like Costco. The talent level at the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo stores is very high. Griping about the grazers? Why, are they in your way when you are grazing?

I guess you're directing that at me, so I'll tell you: I don't graze, and I don't eat any food that is exposed to the general population.

I love costco. They just need an express line.

Also their cafeteria food is cheap and large portions.

This, plus, I find the food better then a lot of fast food joints. Mileage may vary on that I guess.

But yea, if I go to gas up the car or bike and want to get like a few things and/or get a bite to eat, my wait goes from like 5 minutes to 30 very quick.

The "Here today/gone tomorrow items" has caught me by surprise. Stopped carrying the Pork Potsickers and only the Chicken vegetable Potstickers. Now their back hurray ! Presently the Costco Columbia Supreme whole bean Coffee gone :x

The people are OK but lose it near the sample tables. Either their highly competitive or in a panic. Its a matter of timing, not getting between shoppers and the sample table. Cause you'll get run over if your not paying attention. :laughing
I only hit the refreshment tables. The host can easily keep a number of samples ready all the time.

Jason is gonna be pissed.

No mention of the "grazers"? The people that just loop around the food samples, blocking the lanes, and getting what, a free meal? I don't know what the hell is going on with them. Wal Mart is by far the worst shopping experience for me. I try to buy most things online, but food is tough. Again, white people problems.

My best friend growing up handed out Costco samples one summer in college.

On a busy Saturday, he decided to count how many people said thank you. 28. :|

28 people all day.

I used to go to Costco in the hick town where I used to live, it was mellow. When I moved here I went to the one in SSF, one time. After experiencing that clusterfuck I haven't gone into one for over 10 years. I dislike clusterfucks.

I was a member of Costco for 20 years, but haven't been for the last five years because most of their prices got higher than other stores on sales.

Their prices just kept going up and now there are very few things that are really a deal.

Petty complaint list. Good job with shit article Yahoo!/MarketWatch.

It should be 7 reasons to hate these mofos. Yahoo! has become a pit. (it started when they acquired geocities and has gone south since) If I wasn't so lazy I should go through all the sites that have my Yahoo! email as default and change it. But google doesn't seem that much better. Is there even a decent email site that is just fricking email?

I avoid Costco on weekends like a plague, and all the sample stations. The latter just make me loose faith in humanity. Grown ass adults behaving like horde of barbarians all for a small piece of some cheap shit.

Costco doesn't give a shit if it's a good experience. They purposely make it just bad enough that you usually don't want to go, but not so bad that you would cancel your membership. If you look at their financials, they make practically all their profit from the membership fee.

And what about their "just for show" merchandise that you aren't actually supposed to buy? The large furniture, outdoor equipment, etc in the center of the store. There's no will call, so how the hell do you get your new patio furniture rung up and in the car, without an army of hired helpers or 5 best friends?

Costco doesn't really sell "shit" products considering just about EVERYTHING they sell (sans their "Kirkland" brand products...which are made by 3rd parties, duh) can be had everywhere else.

If you think Costco sells "shit" products, you haven't been paying attention.

U mad bro. :laughing

My point <-----------------------> you

On side note, just because it's sold everywhere else doesn't mean it's not shit.

I had a Costco membership for one year, didn't use it much. Only got the membership because the sales girl recruiting up front had huge fake tits. Nevermind they were at the 1 and 4 o'clock positions (chamelon eyes). I paid up.
