How does a person fucking up royally to get perma-banned from a board based on THEIR OWN ACTIONS become a mod-bashing thread a year or two later?
And why are we even discussing this again? If this isn't 'attention whoring', I have no idea what the fuck is.
Dudette, you fucked up, big time, you were banned based on your own doings/online personality... you went on bashing this forum and its moderators all over the place (because they didn't bow to your level of attention requirements and only did what they were here to do... to keep bullshit out of this forum)... now you come back, using your husband's account (which I was probably the only mod that asked for that account to be banned by association...due to the close connection/relation/association with you... just because I knew there was going to be such drama later on, but other moderators instantly disagreed with me)... and now you ask for forgiveness.
You never really did anything bad to me personally and I really didn't care one way or another if you stayed or left... in fact, I was probably more inclined to keeping you here based on all the extra 'meat space' events that you participated in or organized... so it is not like I have any personal bad feelings towards you... but when moderators are bombarded by pm's and discussions about how your actions 'online' are causing others headaches and such... there is not much that can be done.
For those who are talking about moderators like moderators have personal hate for people that they haven't even met: This is not the case, as much as some high school'ers around here still would like to believe. Moderators see the reported posts, see the 'I didn't start it, he/she did...' pm's and emails... they base their opinion of a person based on what they see online and the amount of work/attention that the person is taking.
It is the abusive emails, pm's, actions behind the scenes... playing nice and 'oh please forgive me' in front of masses while pm'ing and emailing absolute b.s. behind the scenes... come on now... these are the kind of shit that no one (moderator or not) wants to deal with.
I am only moderating the forsale section now (really only to try and help BARFers who need to sell their bike, change titles for them, put in a
in their ad, stop others from shitting in their ads, etc.).. but I can tell you this... moderators do this voluntarily, so no one owes them anything... they can leave any second they want, and they don't need to take shit from members for putting their time in and trying to help... if they are still doing their job here, is only because they like this forum and would like to see it stay and become a better place.
There are few participants in every forum who do not care about that forum, and do not wish to play nice and within the rules... and as soon as you ask them to do so... they start interpreting the rules and arguing with you that they are within the rules and this and that... shit, now you need the god damn superior court of wherever to come explain the rules and their intent and legalities and subsections and ... These few people make online forums hell to be a part of (and to moderate)... these few people generate 90+% of the drama/problems, while the other 99.9% of the forum participants are playing nice and don't need to even read the rules to act within them. Amazing, isn't it?
I point to the drama created in this thread, by fattygotpunked for letting his account be used by bad kitty, and rest my case.

I've met Kendra in person, and she's an asset to any party. I'm sure I'm not the only person who missed her presence at Tom's 60's party.
Bad Kitty's online antics had no effect on me, so I will defer to the mods, and trust that they have made the correct decision in keeping her off the board.
But I don't understand this:
If today's determination was that whatever BK did (years ago) was so heinous that she should not be re-instated today, why would it be different months from now? Will her actions be less heinous after the mods involved/affected are no longer mods? Will such heinous actions someday be an acceptable part of BARF? Is she going to write a better apology letter? It sounds like you've spent enough time on this, and there's been more than enough drama. Minimize future drama by telling Bad Kitty (and anyone else who has used up all nine of their BARF lives) "Never", and move forward. I'm tired of seeing troublemakers get "perma-banned", and then come back for another round of the same.
