This is a genius name.

Every doctor, teacher, and customer service rep is going to struggle with it. The subsequent offended correction will distort the interaction and serve notice that this mom is serious business. Airline clerk got outplayed.

I met a black guy a few weeks ago who's first name is Master. His parents either had a great sense of humor, or not. : |
 
what the fuck is wrong with people?!?! as if kids don’t have a hard enough time with all the crap they endure (teasing, bulling, etc.) - you saddle them with a name that will make them need at a minimum, to explain to everyone they meet how to even pronounce it. sorry, but that woman is a pure unadulterated asshole. she can obviously do whatever she wants to her kid while she’s still a kid. but at some point she’s going to have to deal with her daughter as a full grown adult. capable of understanding the misery and humiliation she brought down on her child’s head. and if i were her kid, i would hold every ridicule and embarrassment i ever endured because of it against her for the rest of my life. not only is she an asshole, but she is either oblivious to or belligerently uncaring of the unnecessary bullshit she has forever subjected her daughter to.

I'm not opposed to non-traditional child names, but ABCDE strikes me as a shockingly lazy choice to name your child, regardless of how you would like others to pronounce it. I would have slightly more respect for the parents if they named their child 12345, but would expect the outcome to be equally sad.
