Each one of these things has different elements to them which may or may not ring a bell of outrage for someone. Let’s not forget what else is fairly disrespectful here: Tweeden was dating her now Husband at the time. The story is that Franken pursued Tweeden with his self written script while she knew Feankens intent, tried to rebuff his attempts and was not interested in any contact with Franken.

The disrespect from men for committed women is rampant. That’s my sticking point: a woman has a BF, is in a committed and happy relationship, and yet some guy pushes past all moral warning signs and takes a shot at an unwilling woman. Dudes be scum bags.

See above. Reading Tweedens accounting of the trip, it was a sleazy pursuit. Later, her BF (now husband) and her ran into Franken. He never apologized. Her husband commented to her that he was in hell when she left him with Franken. I’ve handled those situations very different, when in her BF’s shoes.

No, and I don’t think he’s asked for it. He has apologized. The woman has accepted it though she said it should have come sooner. He has asked for an investigation to determine if he should be punished. What else should be done?
