Anime Thread *was Naruto Shippuden!*

Naruto and Bleach were pretty good this week... Again looking forward to Bleach next week....

I am going to watch that Claymore anime tonight maybe... I've only found Episode 1 are there more or is it just that new?

Wow. I didn't even know there were 4 episodes out. I really need to start keeping up with downloading.

I'm glad to see so much interest in the creativity of anime judging from this thread. This looks really promising.
We may have to start a BARF Genshiken when I move down there.

Yeah DL'd and watched some of it yesterday morning before the AFM races :)

Not sure if you've seen it yet but I got bored pretty quick... but maybe the second half will be better...

Claymore is a pretty damn good show! Thanks for the suggestion!
 
Okay I watched the whole thing last night, it was pretty good movie, but his ability to really "tap" into his 9-Tail chakra so quickly and easily made it a little disappointing.. the fights were short but I guess that's needed for the movie and the lack of explanation of their opponents powers kind of irritated me.

But overall pretty good, with some cheesy moments thrown in for good measure.
 
Well since Itachi has that there special Sharingan won't he pretty much kick his arse? Didn't he last time?

I was like 5 mins into episdoe 12 but was too tired to continue...

But the bleach episode was good again... But it sucks now that I have to wait another whole week!

I was going to start watching "Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou" tonight has anyone else seen this? It seemed cool in the description on ANN.
 
What's everyone using to download their anime these days? I'm tired of Youtube and I don't want to go back to using LimeWire. I also heard there is a faster way to download RAW versions and subtitle tracks seperately and use a program to synch them. Does anyone here do that or even heard of that?
 
I use uTorrent, and then the specific "Subs group (ie-Shinsen-Subs, or DB)" for the files.

I have a stage6 page with lots of shows, great quality (HD quality, with max files size of 2GB!)

But I usually link stuff on my website, I hate YouTube, the quality is such crap. But I plan on updating my Stage6 profile with everything I've been DLing in Torrents.

It's true. youtube video quality is crap. But I didn't mind because of convenience. But now they are flagging and taking down the anime episodes for cable companies so it's not convenient anymore.

Actually, I checked out your site recently. It's a really nice. I was checking out Kiba. I'm in Seattle now, but I'll be in Oakley in about a month (just looking for a job).

I found out that VLC is one of the media players used to synch subtitles and RAW episodes.

Here are another couple of sites you may want to browse through. Just a warning: My firewall indicated that it blocked a spy attempt from the second site the first time I accessed it. But it may have been from another site or project I was working on because I've opened the site more than a few times since and haven't had the same problem.

this time i figure w/ naruto and sakura, it'll be a bit more level.
 
You know Kakashi has been doing some "extreme training" so he'll probably have something up his sleave.

As I was watching the last episode and thinking about how Kakashi has still never shown his face. I think the way the creators are sticking with the theme is pretty cool. I'm also really feeling the shinobi dogs and how they all have their own individual style. I can't help but smile everytime they get some screen time.
 
Wow that Naturo movie was horrible. It felt like watching an hour and a 1/2 of filler diarrhea. It's a rehash of the first movie if you really think about. Kingdom in trouble, a spoiled heir on bad terms with Naruto, becomes best friends with him at the end. They even finished it off with the same rasengan he's used 100x since he's learned it.

You guys ever wonder how is it some of the high level shinobis learned the stuff they learned? Like some of the techniques the daimes and sannin bust out? Then you look back at Naturo and wonder... damn how the hell is he going to be a hokage if all he know is that friggin ransengan!!!#$#@~!
 
Glad I wasn't the only one... it was painful and took me two days to watch.. the random cheerful laughter had me :wtf

But like I read someowhere it's supposed to be dead set in the middle of the Filler and even some of the movie is supposedly brought up in the filler...
 
okay I'm trying to finish GUNxSWORD but I can't find the last 7 episodes.. I've been watchin Shinsen-Subs version but they've stopped at 19! Anyone have torrent locations for the last 7?

Very similar series to Trigun but the added in meca makes it interesting...
 
Okay it's Monday... everyone should be caught up... So...

Bleach: He defeats the Hollow... and we figure out Aizen's goal for the whole deal...

Naruto: Having two battles at once kind of took away from both of them I felt. It made it so piece mealed that neither had to have continuity. Although, the majority of the fighting was with Gai's team. Now did Naruto get caught up in the Sharingan or what?

Claymore: Good to see some background developing and gives some insight into what Clare's (also have seen it as Claire, what do you guys think?) motive for helping out the human (can't remember his name off the top of my head).

Darker Than Black: Providing some history and motivation for his actions. if you guys haven't started watching this, it's pretty good.

I started D.Gray-Man this weekend. I'm getting sucked in. I like it alot and already am on episode 14.

Also caught Skullman, only one episode out so far but it was interesting. From the first episode I've already formed some ideas as to who is "Skullman" or what/who funds his mission but I'll let you guys watch it first.

I watched the first episode of Reigeen i think it's called and the Mecha portion was boring and the mecha's move like molasses. I also wasn't a fan of the computer 3D animation during the painfully slow Mecha battle.
 
In the manga, the battle between the two teams flows much better. The problem with the anime is that they have to cut between both battles over a span of 20 min, each week. Its too bad because its a pretty epic battle between akatsuki and Kakashi's + Gai's team. I can tell you the fighting is gonna last another 2-3 weeks episodes worth. And thats just between Kisame and Itachi.

Would you mind throwing Claymore up on your site? I've been meaning to join but I haven't had much free time these days. Just enough to stay afloat with Naruto, Bleach and finishing Full Metal Panic TSR.
