Looks like that White Suprematist was just being themself, which people might think is mental illness, but in reality it’s just the way they are.

Pretty certain the perpetrator was African American and unlikely ton be a white supremacist.

some years back when I worked at SF city hall I got sent to one south van ness to fix a PC. Some white dude was yelling the N-word on Van Ness and kicking trash all over the place so I identified and avoided. On my way back I saw him again still acting out, I assumed he was having some kind of mental break down and once again avoided him. About an hour later I got sent from city hall to 1155 Market to fix another PC. When I got back to city hall crazy cracker is sitting backwards on an older BMW, drum brakes, across from city hall. I yell at him "get the fuck off that motorcycle" , he looks at me and asks is it mine and I yell in my best drill sergeant voice, "no but I know who owns it and you ain't him". He sheepishly gets off it and quite sanely says it's ok man no need to get all aggro. Of course I get all aggro and he scurries off quickly.

sometimes you gotta out crazy the crazies.

I gave her a folding knife from my collection on request but I don't think it has any chance of helping her. If that guy had hit her nothing would have helped short of combat training (which we should all have).

Judging from her reaction in that video a knife isn't going to do her much good other than get it taken from her.

Get her pepper spray. Check out POM on Amazon, $12.95. I gave all the women in my family a can as a stocking stuffer a few years back.
