Eric, THANK YOU so much for showing us what we missed :cry

A few of us went to go see Mission Guadalupe ruins, out of Mulege. The condition of the road was unknown to our group, but hey, there's only one way to find out.
After a bit of wandering on smaller roads, we found the main road.
It was wonderful -

That road was super fun. We took it again the next day but all the way to San Juanico. It has everything from fast sections to water crossing to sand and rocks. Epic road and on my must do list for next year. Thanks for the pics Eric!

Eric I am holding out (being lazy) but I have a ton of video from that day...it was FUN!

More of Baja for those who still have the blues

I bet I can make a pretty good guess who helped you in Burro Beach to retrieve your BMW and the tire (one of three people I think). Folks in Baja are awesome! Its these experiences I enjoy even more than the riding itself.

Sounds like you and Scott had a proper adventure and great stories to share for years. Consider a small proper dual sport next year and join us. The smaller bikes really open up the adventure.

I'm sure you could guess, but please don't. They say no good deed shall go unpunished. Last thing I want is for him to be inundated with "can you help me" calls.
We need to talk. I'm thinking of selling the Christini and picking up a good Honda like yours or Tom's. Send me details of what you think would be a good Baja bike for me.

I posted a bunch of pics on FB on Feb 3.
Check them out.

I also posted a video. More to come. Leaving on 3.5 week ride, will try to post more later.
Count me in for next year, and help me find a good bike for the trip.

:thumbup No worries Fran. Its a great Baja story. I'll share my story of San Ignacio with you sometime. It involved a King Air plane, a TV star, and parts for my Land Rover. Baja is a beautiful place because of the people you meet. Locals, ex pats, and fellow travelers always help. Its why I love Baja.

Shot you an email. Reach out to me anytime and enjoy your road trip!
